James graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2013 with a B.A. in Sociology and moved to Raleigh, NC in 2014 to begin a career in editorial services. After making his way around the Triangle and finding a home in Durham, James began working at Technica Editorial in 2018. His professional background is diverse and represents creative work in writing and film. Besides working full-time for Technica, James is an avid movie-goer, photographer, writer, and board game enthusiast. As a Senior Editor, James works with multiple editors for a variety of titles, managing the peer review process and ensuring that manuscripts are ready for publication.
