Hayley Nestor

Associate Editor/Illustration & Graphics

Hayley grew up in the Chapel Hill area and later moved to Richmond, Virginia, where she received a BFA in Painting and Printmaking at VCUarts. At VCUarts she worked in her department’s Etching Studio, helping her peers with printing techniques and various print projects. Hayley also worked for several Richmond organizations that brought the arts to local public schools, teaching art to students in grades K-12. She moved back home to Carrboro in 2019, where she enjoys spending time with her dog (Wendy), cooking, watching movies (good and bad), and working on her embroidery. Hayley supports several peer review offices and is a member of Technica’s author services team for fiction and nonfiction projects — critiquing, developing, and editing manuscripts in close association with the authors.
